We have tried to make the form process aa simple as possible, please read the following, it may give you an idea into the complexity in designing the correct 'renewable energy' system for your needs. At some stage these details below will be asked for, so, why not reduce the emails back and forth and complete the form as correctly as possible.
1. To be able to calculate your exact power requirements, hence the number and size of renewable energy components (i.e. solar panels, charge controllers, inverters, batteries, wind generators, hydro turbines, etc) , it is necessary to know the power each device consumes in Watts (W), refrigerators are usually rated in litres (L) or Watts (W) and air conditioners and pumps are usually rated in Horse Power (Hp).
2. To be able to calculate the size of the inverter and batteries (if any) it is necessary to know the 'Hours of use/day' of each device.
3. It is also necessary to know how many days back-up you want designed into the system to cater for non producing days (e.g. If you have a number of rainy/overcast/windless days your batteries will slowly discharge).
